U5W2: When is a Planet not a Planet?
***Any unfinished classwork will be added as a homework assignment***
**Any work a student misses while absent will be entered into RenWeb as an "I" for incomplete. This will calculate into the grade as a zero until the work is made up and turned in for a grade. If the student fails to make up the graded assignment after 2 weeks, the "I" will change to a zero for that assignment.** Please check RenWeb regularly for missed assignments. |
Wonders Test Schedule:
First week of a new story: (Week 1) Thursday: Spelling Test = worth 20 pts. English Grade Friday: Anchor text vocabulary quiz = worth 20 pts. Reading Grade Grammar Quiz = worth is random depending on test. Usually 24-32 points. English Grade Second week of a new story: (Week 2) Tuesday: Anchor text (main story) comprehension quiz = worth 15 pts. Reading Grade Thursday: Spelling Test = worth 20 pts. English Grade Friday: Reading/Vocabulary Skills Test = worth 50-60ish points. Reading Grade. RAPPSS portion of test counts as separate English Grade. Grammar Quiz = worth is random depending on test. Usually 24-32 points. English Grade Notebook Grade: = worth 20 - 30 points. Reading Grade Any work that a student missed while absent will be entered into RenWeb as an "I" for incomplete. Students will receive a Session Cover page at the beginning of each session. The cover page items must be completed one day before the test date so we can review for the test. Students will turn in the cover page packet the day of the test. |
